All abuzz at the Aitchison College Honey Farm


Science Department of Aitchison College Prep School arranged a visit to the Principal’s Garden on Thursday 18th November. Our keen and aspiring scientists from E2C2 observed the colonies of vigilant bees. They learnt different stages of the life cycle of a honey bee and the assiduous workings of their sweet labour. Following are the highlights of the event:

  • Briefing by Miss Madeeha on the life cycle of the honey bees and the cultivation of honey in the (artificial hives) bee boxes.
  • Students’ visit to the colonies of honey bees
  • Question answer session
