Mathematics Tessellation Competition

The Prep School Maths Department held the Mathematics Tessellation Competition on September 26, 2024. More than eighty-two students from E2, M1, and M2 classes participated. The primary goal of the competition was to help students identify mathematical shapes and master precision in measurements and angles. Students worked with regular polygons and applied the concepts of proportion and symmetry in crafting tessellation designs.

This event showcased our students’ creativity and artistic skills while strengthening their mathematical abilities in key areas such as counting, measurement, estimation, drawing accuracy, area, perimeter, and more.
