Renowned mathematician, Professor Dr. Krerley Oliveira visited Aitchison College, Prep School on Friday, 11^th October 2024 and mesmerised our students with mathematical principles, magic and tricks. Professor Oliveira is a leading expert in Dynamical Systems and Probability Theory. During the talk, he captivated the audience by unravelling the mathematical principles behind many well-known magical tricks, performed by magicians. The event was both entertaining and educational.  It endorses that mathematics can be learnt and applied in the most creative, fun and ingenious ways. We hope his talk has inspired our students, instilling curiosity and a deeper sense of appreciation for the beauty of mathematics.
