The Power of Character in Leadership - A Transformative Session

On Sunday, 26th  January 2025, an engaging session titled: Power of Character in Leadership was conducted by Mr. Khalid Saifullah, Housemaster of Kelly House, in the Media Room of the Syed Babar Ali Library. The session, attended by twenty-two H1 students from five senior boarding houses, highlighted the importance of moral strength, integrity, and leading by example. The boys actively participated in thoughtful discussions on the basic qualities essential for building strong character, such as honesty, compassion, empathy, humility, and accountability. A creative self-reflection activity encouraged the students to identify three words that best described their character, promoting self-awareness and growth.

The session also featured an inspiring story about Hazrat Zaid bin Haritha (RA) and his admiration for the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (SAWW) impeccable character, underscoring how leading with integrity and compassion can profoundly impact others. The session concluded with reflections on how to incorporate these values into their daily lives, leaving the students inspired and motivated to embrace character-driven leadership.
