Artistry Unravelled
The Art & Design Department, Prep School held an art workshop on February 27, 2025, at Shamim Khan Hall. It was conducted by Taimoor Khan Mumtaz, an iconic architect, artist, and former Aitchisonian. The workshop was designed for Grade E2 and M1 students and focused on the theme "Number, Geometry and Cosmology ". During the workshop our students explored mathematical patterns, geometry, and how these ideas connect to art and architecture. Through discussions and hands-on activities, they learned about geometric principles and their role in designs. Since Geometric Design is part of our Art & Design syllabus, this workshop provided our students valuable insight and deeper understanding of these concepts. They were encouraged to think creatively and critically while understanding the link between numbers, shapes, and artistic expression. The workshop went extremely well.
