Aitchison College Expands Miyawaki Forest with Second Plantation Drive
Building on its initial success of Miyawaki plantation of 2,500 trees, Aitchison College has added another 1,800 trees in the second afforestation drive, bringing the total to 4,300 Miyawaki trees on campus. This effort reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and ecological responsibility. Our students actively participated in the drive, making it an engaging and educational experience that promotes environmental awareness across all age groups. Organised by the Humanitarian and Environmental Society, the initiative has increased the total tree count on campus from 13,479 to approximately 15,279, moving Aitchison College closer to its vision of a zero-carbon future.
