Aitchison College Staff Stuns ACOBA Eleven
On March 22, 2025, the final cricket match of the Tri-Series was played between Aitchison College Staff and the ACOBA Executive Committee. AC Staff won the toss and elected to bat. They scored a mammoth 171 runs for 4 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Mr. Umer Zaman Khan, the captain, was in remarkable form, hitting boundaries all over the ground. He made a magnificent 79 runs. He was aptly supported by the second opener, Mr. Mavaz Tamia, who secured 63. It resulted in a century partnership between them. Mr. Yousaf Ali, the middle order, also contributed 19* valuable runs.
In reply, the ACOBA Executive Committee managed to score 118 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Their main run getters were Babar Zaman (15), Ammar Azam (21), and Muhammad Ahmad (22), with a few others reaching double digits. It was a comprehensive victory for the AC Staff Team.
