Treading the Untrodden Trail - Shogran Valley Camping Trip, 2025
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of Aitchison College, Prep School’s Summer Vacation Wilderness Camping and Trekking Programme 2025. Over five exhilarating days and four nights, around 130 adventurous students, guided by a team of dedicated teachers, immersed themselves in the breathtaking landscapes of Shogran Hill Station.
The expedition was organised into three batches, departing on 29th May, 12th June, and 16th June 2025. Each followed a thoughtfully designed itinerary that balanced physical challenges, Nature exploration, and character-building experiences. Highlights of the adventure were as such:
- Stream Crossings and Outdoor Skills: Students navigated the pristine waters of Dadar, Jabori, and Siran Valley, mastering essential survival techniques and outdoor practical skills.
- Authentic Camping Life: From pitching tents to knot-tying and lashing, our students embraced hands-on wilderness living.
- Scenic Treks: The hikes to Paprang and Makra Peak offered awe-inspiring views and intimate encounters with Mother Nature.
- Teamwork and Resilience: Through collaborative challenges, students developed independence, discipline, and camaraderie in a safe yet adventurous setting.
- Evening Bonding: Tranquil nights were filled with campfire games, storytelling, and peals of laughter, forging unforgettable memories.
Throughout the journey, our students exhibited exceptional discipline, teamwork, and enthusiasm, while the accompanying staff ensured a seamless and enriching experience. This trip was more than just an adventure—it was a transformational experience that nurtured resilience, leadership, and a deep appreciation for the great outdoors.
