Faheem Ahsan (Old Boy) Receives Prestigious International Award for Restoration of Aitchison's Old Building

Our esteemed Old Boy and the College Architect, Faheem Ahsan Jamil was recognised on the global stage at the ARCASIA Awards for Architecture 2025, held on 10 September 2025 in Incheon, South Korea. His architectural firm, Raees Faheem Associates, was awarded the prestigious Gold Award in the Historical Restoration category. This award celebrated their work on the restoration of the Old Building at Aitchison College, which stands tall as perhaps the most distinct architectural treasure of the College and a symbol of its heritage. Congratulations to Mr Jamil and his firm for this well deserved accolade and for making their mark in Pakistan’s architectural arena!

Mr Jamil has also previously proven his unmatched calibre while working on the new Syed Babar Ali Library building, transforming it into a hub of learning and collaboration, at the intersection of modern and historical architecture.

We at Aitchison celebrate and stand proud of our Old Boy!
