Bright Smiles, Healthy Habits: Dental Awareness Session at Junior School
A Dental Health Awareness Session was organised in the Junior School on Tuesday, 11th November 2025, for learners of K5 and K6. This informative session aimed to raise awareness about the importance of oral care and to encourage healthy dental hygiene habits among our students.
The session was conducted by Dr. Shanze Mirza, a leading orthodontist and dental practitioner. Through an engaging 20-minute presentation on dental problems, oral hygiene, and preventive care, Dr. Mirza highlighted common oral health issues faced by children aged 10 to 13 years. She also offered practical guidance on effective brushing techniques, healthy eating habits, and the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene. A brief question-and-answer session followed, during which Dr. Mirza thoughtfully addressed the learners’ dental queries.
As a follow-up to the presentation, a mobile dental clinic was brought to the campus, allowing students to observe dental tools and equipment firsthand and gain valuable insight into maintaining strong and healthy teeth.
