Shirazi House Formal Dinner: A Night of Guidance and Growth
Shirazi House hosted its Formal Dinner on Monday, 24th November 2025, bringing together esteemed Old Boys of Aitchison College and distinguished professionals from various fields of life who generously shared their guidance and experiences with the students. The event was honoured by the presence of the Principal, Dr. S. M. Turab Hussain, the Bursar, Mr. Khalid Mohammad Noon, and the Headmistress of Senior School, Ms. Amina Kamran. Among the guests of honour were Mr. Shehryar A. Sheikh, Mr. Faisal Ali Asghar, Dr. Tarunjit Singh Butalia, Mr. Jamal Hussain, Mr. Ali Nomani, Mr. Fareed Ahmad Agha, Mr. Ahsun Ali Noor, and Mr. Mohammad Sheikh. Throughout the evening, the guests engaged with students at their tables, sharing personal reflections on topics such as perseverance, leadership, character development, and professional growth. These conversations offered valuable insights to our students into real-world experiences and the core values that define the Aitchison community. Later, an engaging discussion in the Common Room of Shirazi House explored themes such as career choices, ethical decision-making, and lifelong learning, creating an atmosphere of intellectual curiosity and inspiration. The event highlighted the enduring bond between past and present Aitchisonians, reaffirming the values of mentorship, excellence, and service, leaving the students motivated, enlightened, and proud of the legacy they inherit at the college.
