Aitchison College Robotics Team Makes History on World Stage
The Aitchison College Science Society is proud to formally announce an exceptional accomplishment by Aitchison College Team A at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) International Finals, held from November 26th to 28th at the Singapore Space & Technology Ltd. facility. This year’s global event brought together competitors from over 95 countries and more than 4000 participants, representing the highest tier of international robotics excellence.
After earning a commanding first place nationally, Team A - consisting of Aahil Saleem Nasir, Arfeen Aman, and Ammar Samie advanced to the world stage, where they delivered an outstanding performance and secured an impressive fifth position worldwide.
This remarkable result marks a historic moment for Pakistan, as it is the first time in 13 years that the country has achieved a top-five podium placement at the WRO International Finals. Their achievement stands as a testament to their skill, dedication, and innovation, as well as to Aitchison College’s enduring commitment to academic and scientific excellence.
