Mastery Series: Mathematics Workshop Successfully Conducted
The Teaching and Learning Centre at Aitchison College successfully conducted the inaugural Mastery Series: Mathematics Workshop on Friday, 27 February 2026, marking the launch of the institution’s first subject-specific professional development initiative.
The workshops brought together 50 Mathematics teachers from the Junior, Prep, and Senior Schools and was facilitated by Dr. Imran Anwar and Dr. Waqas Ali Azhar from Lahore University of Management Sciences. Designed to enhance teaching practices and strengthen student engagement in Mathematics by adding games, fun and laughter, the interactive sessions introduced practical strategies to promote deeper conceptual understanding and active learning in classrooms.
The workshops echoed with laughter and received highly positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the relevance and immediate applicability of the approaches shared, marking a strong beginning for the Mastery Series initiative.
