Aitchison College Celebrates Outstanding US University Admissions Success (2025 - 26)

Aitchison College proudly marks another exceptional year of US university admissions, reflecting the continued hard work and dedication of the US Admissions Counselling Department.

A total of 114 students (including 20 gap year students) from Aitchison College applied to US universities this year, collectively securing an impressive 300 offers of admission reported to date. Among these, 67 acceptances were to top-ranked institutions, reflecting both the academic caliber of our students and the strength of the guidance provided throughout the application process.

This year’s outcomes are particularly noteworthy for the breadth and prestige of institutions represented. Aitchisonians earned places at some of the world’s most selective universities, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), an acceptance that marks a milestone for the College after nearly a decade, alongside California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and Stanford University.

Our students also achieved remarkable success across Ivy League and Ivy-plus institutions, with offers from Brown University, University of Pennsylvania, Duke University and other highly selective universities. In addition, a prestigious Johnson Scholarship at Washington and Lee University highlights the caliber of both academic and leadership excellence among our cohort.

The diversity of acceptances spans leading national universities, liberal arts colleges, and specialized institutions. Students secured places at institutions such as Williams College, Harvey Mudd College, Babson College, Johns Hopkins University, Rice University, and Vanderbilt University, reflecting a wide range of academic interests from engineering and sciences to business, economics, and the liberal arts.

Our students also received multiple offers from top public universities, including UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, and UNC Chapel Hill, as well as from globally recognized institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University, University of Southern California, New York University (across its global campuses), and UT Austin.

Aitchison College’s boarding community also recorded strong outcomes in this year’s admissions cycle. A total of 17 boarding students applied to universities in the United States, securing 22 offers of admission, including top institutions such as Duke Kunshan University, NYU Shanghai, Bucknell University, and UC San Diego. These results reflect the College’s structured and highly personalized approach to university counseling, where students are supported closely in developing their academic and extracurricular profiles, and in curating balanced and well-considered university lists.

These results underscore the continued success of Aitchison College in preparing students not only for admission to highly selective institutions but also for meaningful academic engagement on a global stage.

Speaking on the outcomes, Ms. Sarah Malik, the Head of the US Admissions Counseling Department, noted: "This year’s results are a testament to the resilience, ambition, and intellectual curiosity of our students. It has been especially rewarding to see them gain recognition from some of the most selective universities in the world."

Aitchison College extends its heartfelt congratulations to all students and their families on these outstanding achievements and looks forward to seeing the Class of 2026 make its mark across campuses in the United States and beyond.
