Passing of Mian Jehangir Azam Monnoo (AC 1968)

Aitchison College is saddened to announce the passing of Mian Jehangir Azam Monnoo (AC 1968) on Thursday, 28 May 2026. He was President of the Monnoo Group of Industries, an accomplished sportsman, and a respected community leader.

A Kelly-ite, Jehangir Monnoo represented the College as a member of the Aitchison College Athletic Team, embodying the spirit of discipline, teamwork, and excellence that remained hallmarks of his life. As Chairman of the Monnoo Group of Industries, he played a leading role in Pakistan’s industrial development and business community. He also served with distinction as Chairman of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) and Chairman of the Punjab Club, earning immense respect for his leadership and commitment to public service.

Jehangir Monnoo leaves behind an enduring legacy. He was known for his integrity and commitment to the institutions he served. The Aitchison community extends its deepest condolences to his family and friends.
