A remarkable achievement worth celebrating!

Aitchison College is proud to congratulate an Old Aitchisonian, Omar Farooq (Batch of 2025) on completing the IRONMAN 70.3 Baku in Azerbaijan at just 20 years old, finishing with an incredible time of 6:22:06.

Omar took on one of the most demanding endurance challenges completing:

1.9 km Open-Water Swim
90 km Bike Ride
21.1 km Half Marathon

His outstanding performance earned him 16th place in the highly competitive Men’s 18–24 age group.

Beyond the numbers, Omar’s achievement is a testament to the discipline, perseverance, and commitment required to take on a challenge of this magnitude. Representing Pakistan on an international platform and completing an IRONMAN 70.3 at such a young age, along with pursuing his undergrad at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, is an accomplishment that the entire Aitchison Community can take pride in.

His determination and achievement are an inspiration for younger generations, and we wish him the very best for his future endeavours.
