Residential Life Forum Keynote Address, Panel Discussion & Campus Heritage Tour
Pioneering a transformative vision for boarding education, the Inaugural Aitchison Residential Life Forum opened with inspiring discourse and historic elegance. The keynote session, Setting the Tone: The Need for Establishing a National Network for Residential Life, delivered virtually by David Walker (Executive Director, Boarding & Education and Director, BSA/TIOB, former Deputy Head and Housemaster of Wellington College), established a compelling vision for cross-institutional collaboration across boarding schools.
Following the keynote, Dr. S. M. Turab Hussain, Principal of Aitchison College, moderated a distinguished panel titled Home Away From Home: Building Belonging in Residential Life, featuring insights from Adnan Zahid (Dean OSA, LUMS), Brig. Nasir Saeed Khattak (Principal, CCH), and Rabia Rehan (Headmistress, Beaconhouse Newlands Multan). To anchor the day in tradition, delegates embarked on a curated campus tour hosted by the Aitchison Archives Department, celebrating the institution’s rich architectural and educational legacy.
