Little Chefs Club - Grandparents' Day Special
The Little Chefs Club was held on 18 September 2026 in K1, K2, and K3. The event gave the boys a fun learning experience that focused on healthy eating, real-life skills, imagination, and working together. The club was part of the Grandparents’ Day activities, so the boys had a chance to make something for their grandparents.
- In K1, the boys learned how to pick and choose ingredients, how to peel and cut safely, and how to mix items to make a bright fruit and vegetable salad with boiled eggs.
- In K2, the boys made granola, yoghurt, and fruit cups. They learned about sequencing and arranging ingredients to make the cups both healthy and visually appealing.
- In K3, the boys made Banoffee Pie. They enjoyed crushing biscuits, cutting bananas, and carefully putting the ingredients in layers to make their dessert.
As part of the Grandparents’ Day celebration, the boys also made thank-you cards for their grandparents. The cards were attached to the jars they had made and taken home as a keepsake. This helped the boys show their love, gratitude, and appreciation for their grandparents.
Overall, the club was a great success in K1, K2, and K3. The boys were excited and actively participated in all the activities. The activity combined real-life skills, healthy food choices, imagination, and family values. It was an unforgettable experience for everyone.
