Voices of Conviction: Aitchison College Inter-House Parliamentary Style Debates 2026
The Aitchison College Senior School Debating Society successfully hosted the Inter-House Parliamentary Style Debates from 4th to 10th September 2026, bringing together eloquent young speakers from across the Senior School Houses in a spirited celebration of argument, intellect, and informed discourse.
Throughout the competition, teams engaged in stimulating parliamentary debates on a diverse range of contemporary issues with global significance. Representing their Houses with distinction, the participants presented well-reasoned arguments supported by facts and evidence, demonstrating impressive levels of critical thinking, research, eloquence, and persuasive skill.
The championship provided a fitting platform for students to engage thoughtfully with complex issues while honing the intellectual discipline at the heart of parliamentary debate.
The Final was held on 10th September between Jubilee House and Robinson House. It was adjudicated by Ms. Samara Salahuddin, Ms. Moniza Hamid, and Mr. Muhammad Qasim, Staff Advisor to the Debating Society. Following a compelling exchange of arguments, Robinson House emerged victorious, securing the championship title.
