AC Football Team Tour to Malaysia


Aitchison College Football team visited Malaysia from 24th to 30th March, 2019 to play Football matches with different Educational Institutions.

The tour was a great experience for the young sportsmen getting exposure at playing in foreign conditions. It was an ideal learning experience and a great opportunity for the boys to represent Aitchison College at international forum.

Aitchison won 3 matches out of 4, by showing their skills, stamina and displaying coordination in achieving their goal.

 

Brief Overview of the Results

 

Match-1 with Malay College Kuala Kangsar: played on Tuesday – Mar 26, 2019. It was a hard fought match. AC tried their best under extreme weather but they lost the match by 4 goals to 2 goals.

Ex High Commissioner to Pakistan Mr. Yusof Hashim and the President of Malay College Old Boys Association Mr. Ahmad Burhanuddin graced the occasion as Chief Guests.

Match-2 with Garden International School: played on Wednesday – Mar 27, 2019. Due to bad weather, we had to play Futsal at their indoor venue. AC Boys won the game by 6 goals to 4 goals. All the Boys played hard, were well coordinated with the teamwork at its best.

Match-3 with Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar (KTJ): played on Thursday – Mar 28, 2019. Our Boys started the match very confidently and they scored 2 goals in the first half of the match. Possession of the ball remained with our Boys till 45th minute and in the final minutes KTJ scored a consolation goal. Final score remained 2-1 in the favour of AC Boys. After the match KTJ hosted Dinner in honour of Aitchison College touring team.

Match-4 with Beaconhouse International School: played on Friday morning Mar 29, 2019. AC Boys confidence was sky high due to consistent victories in the last matches. They totally demolished the opposition by 8 goals to nil. The whole match was dominated by AC Boys. Other team was too weak to handle the pressure amidst regular attacks by the AC team. At the end, it was a one sided match.

Besides the football matches, AC team visited various historical places and popular restaurants in their spare time. The Boys had fun and made new friends with the host teams.
