Founder's Day Assembly - Nov 13


On November 13, Aitchison College celebrates its 133rd Anniversary. With this year’s celebration, we acknowledge the achievements of the past and contemplate our future. We feel proud of where we stand as a school that not only provides the highest level of education, but also grooming of boys into gentlemen.

At this Founder’s Day Assembly, students from the Junior School sang the College Anthem. The Head Boy, Saadiq Karim Soofi, hosted the event, and in his speech, reminded everyone of the Aitchison legacy: loyalty to our country and the obligation to act as citizens of the highest standard. In his address, the Principal, Mr. Michael Thomson, spoke of his wishes for the coming years of the College. Aitchison student, Daniyal Khichi,was the grand marshal, and led the students with vigor and pride symbolic of a true Aitchisonian. High achieving students were presented shields for their accomplishments in a variety of competitions. The College also presented its oldest employees with medals of appreciation for long service, presented by the chief guest, President of ACOBA, Mr. Shahjahan Ayub and Mr. Michael Thomson. Works of art by the students of the Senior School were displayed in an exhibition in the sunken garden.
