Principal's Letter May 11
Dear Parents and Prospective Parents,
The most recent government announcement concerning the reopening of schools after July 15 is now interpreted for you in the rescheduled events below for prospective and existing parents. As already experienced, however, we must be prepared for possible further delays. If this were to occur, we will provide timely updates. Please also read comments on our June online classes and pre-recorded lessons.
NEW ADMISSIONS
Admission testing for K2 to K5 and E2 will take place between Thursday July 16 and Monday July 20. Interviews of shortlisted candidates and all administrative requirements including offers will be finalised by July 27 before Eid holidays. The deadline for Fee Submission is Monday August 3. We appreciate that young boys have had to wait a lengthy period of time, but Aitchison is committed to testing admissions on the basis of merit and equity. Below this schedule is information for AS & F.Sc admissions.

JUNE CLASSES ONLINE AND RELATED LEARNING
Aitchison will provide both pre-recorded lessons and weekly online support for boys in Prep and Senior School throughout June. Junior School will be offered pre-recorded lessons. Timetables for all schools will be uploaded to portals prior to June. Our decision takes into account the age and maturity of boys and the limited effectiveness of online face-to-face sessions, including connectivity issues. Pre-recorded lessons will be the developing focus of online sessions that follow once a week. This system will also help parents understand what boys are doing.
