Riders Display Prowess at Malik Atta Memorial Tent Pegging Competition

Tent Pegging at Aitchison is not only a display of prowess.  It is a living testament to its connectivity with our College’s rich historical past. In line with our traditions, the Malik Atta Muhammad Memorial Tent Pegging competition was held between Aitchison College vs. Old Boys on January 25th, 2025. The occasion marked a lot of fanfare and fervour.   Twenty-eight best riders represented Aitchison College, and there were twenty-four Old Boys.  The competition was categorised as Individual, Pair and Section Tent Pegging. In the Individual Tent Pegging Category, the old boys edged out AC boys by securing 1st and 2nd positions. In the Pair Category, the old boys once more triumphed by securing 1st and 2nd positions. In the Section Tent Pegging, our students managed 1st and 3rd  positions neutralizing a whitewash by the Old Boys.

The pavilion was filled with the most appreciative spectators. They chanted slogans to back up the participants.  The Chief Guest on the occasion was our distinguished old boy, Mr. Asim Ali Shah, who distributed prizes, medals and trophies among the winners.
