Prep School Hosts Inter-School Mathematics Olympiad

Aitchison College Prep School, Mathematics Department hosted the Inter-School Mathematics Olympiad on February 15, 2025. The primary objective of the competition was to enhance students' mathematical skills while fostering their appreciation and passion for the subject. During the competition, the participants demonstrated a strong desire for intellectual challenges, as they were to solve a variety of stimulating problems. Sixteen of the best schools of the town participated in the competition. The Olympiad featured four distinct categories:

  1. Math Tessellation Competition
  2. Math Digital Competition
  3. Math Poster Competition. The theme was "Mathematics is the Language of the Universe."
  4. Math Quiz Competition

It was a platform for students to showcase their problem-solving abilities, innovative thinking, and effective communication skills. The sense of achievement in overcoming complex challenges within time constraints was evident throughout the competition. The Olympiad not only challenged young minds but also inspired them to embrace the beauty of mathematics and its limitless possibilities.
