Principal's Announcement for C1

Dear Parents and Boys of Current C1,

We have looked into what we think is best for each senior year level. Because a June recommencement is not guaranteed, it is especially in the best interests of ALL C1 boys to take an assessed Cambridge grade in Pakistan Studies and Islamiyat. If they do not, they will be required to complete these subjects in the C2 year without choice. Boys who are disappointed with their grade may retake these subjects in a full C2 year, which used to be the case for many years.  We cannot risk the ramifications should school not start in June; made even more crucial because October/November retakes will not be offered as the syllabus time is too restricted. This decision is pressing as Cambridge has a cut-off date of April 24th. Accordingly, there will be no June Mocks in these subjects. 

Those who do not wish to go ahead with this option must advise the Exam Office no later than Friday, April 17th. However, it is my very strong recommendation that ALL boys take this option to keep choices open.
