Aitchison College Student Becomes World's Youngest Sports Author

At nineteen years and sixty-five days, Hasan Malik (Batch of 2024) became the World’s Youngest Sports Author by publishing his first book, Ten Moments That Changed Cricket. The book is for cricket fans of all ages. It provides an analytical look at the modern game coupled with historical insights into how the world of cricket developed over the last 200 years.  The author examines the spread of international cricket, the evolution of all three formats, and the changes in playing styles - and more in the tapestry of cricket’s history. Featuring a Foreword by Mr. Ali Khan Tareen, the owner of the Multan Sultans cricket franchise, the book is sure to be a riveting read.

Recently, Hasan Malik was invited to speak about his book on PTV World. Hasan is also the founder of Pakistan’s largest youth-run cricket blog, The Cricketing Hour, with 4k+ followers on Instagram and 60+ videos on YouTube.

Ferozsons, Pakistan’s largest publishing house, has certified Hasan’s achievement as the youngest-ever sports author in the world. Mr. Hasan is currently pursuing studies in Computer Science at the University of Toronto.
