Aitchison College Congratulates Arshad Nadeem, National Olympian, and his Coach Salman Iqbal Butt (AC'77)
We extend our warmest congratulations to Arshad Nadeem on his historic achievement as Pakistan's First Olympic Javelin Champion at the Paris Olympics 2024. Special recognition goes to his dedicated coach, Salman Iqbal Butt (AC' 66-77), an accomplished athlete himself, whose expert guidance, unwavering support, and tireless efforts played a pivotal role in shaping this champion. Salman Iqbal Butt has been instrumental in Arshad's success, training him for the past four years. A true gentleman and athlete, he has been instrumental in developing a true champion. Notably, Salman Iqbal Butt represented Pakistan in the 4th SAF Games (1989-Islamabad) and won a Silver Medal in Discus Throw at the 5th SAF Games (1991-Colombo). We salute Salman Iqbal Butt's contribution to Arshad Nadeem's success and celebrate their remarkable achievement.
