Senior School's 'The Play That Goes Wrong' Went So Right

On Friday, 24th January 2025, the Aitchison College Dramatics Club presented its Senior School Annual

English Play, “The Play That Goes Wrong” by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields of the Mischief Theatre Company. The evening was a resounding theatrical success, earning contagious applause from the audience. This year’s comedy satirised murder mysteries, transforming the stage into a riot of laughter as mishaps, forgotten lines, missed cues, and a collapsing set created a whirlwind of chaos.

In attendance, we had the worthy Principal of Aitchison College, S.M. Turab Hussain, as Chief Guest. He was joined by the Guest of Honour, the critically acclaimed Director and Producer a renowned Aitchisonian Kaamil Cheema, known for his award-winning projects “Laal Kabootar” and "The Clown" triumphing in the Best Short Film award at the London Indian Film Festival. Both commended the actors for their outstanding performances and praised the revival of comedic theatre at Aitchison College.

The play’s success was a testament to the commendable talent of the cast and crew while upholding the time-old saying, “The show must go on!”
