Security is a major and constant challenge for all schools and universities around the world. This is why Aitchison College has invested heavily in very strong and sensible security. At times, I appreciate this can be frustrating for those who wish to visit us, but the College must continue to display the good sense of obtaining appropriate clearances for all visitors, as well as our operations and activities inside and outside the campus.

Security clearances apply to all people -students, staff, parents, alumni and visitors. All must be treated equally if we are to uphold our responsibilities. Other than the setting down and collecting of boys from school, all visitors (including parents) must have an official and verifiable security clearance. There are no exceptions. Parent appointments must be made through the appropriate Headmaster or Headmistress of your son's school. The number of visitors, purpose of visit and with whom one is meeting are critically important things to know.
