Dear Parents,

We are all looking forward to the winding down of school’s academic intensity for just a few days, and then the joy of a Spring Break. Reports so far indicate that academic results are very, very pleasing.  

March 8^th-10^th is extremely important for the College, and it is to be hoped that all occasions are well supported by boys and their families. Our Academic Founders’ Day will be a late afternoon start at 4.30pm in the Amphitheatre. The Chief Guest for this occasion is the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar. The following sports days for Junior, Prep and Senior will welcome chief guests Mr. Fahd Husain, Mr. Mustafa Ramday and Major General Muhammad Aamer. Aitchison never looks better than on these ‘painted,’ spring days. Please come and enjoy the celebrations and soak up the atmosphere.

While I have received requests to re-schedule Spring Break next year, one would also suggest that having exams completed and out of the way also helps a boy enjoy the break even more rather than losing it to feverish study. Nevertheless, we will seriously consider a change for next year and I appreciate the feedback.

Notwithstanding, I make a general plea to parents to strictly observe the school calendar dates. These are not optional and holidays should not be planned inside term time. Everything we do is valuable and adds to your son’s education and identification with his school and friends.
